Our store has Certified Packaging Experts that can take those family heirloooms, or expensive electronics that you just don't have the materials or confidence for. Every package that we pack and ship through our store, is under our Pack and Ship Promise. If any of your items get damaged in transit, you will be reimbursed for the repair/replacement value of what it was insured for, along with the packaging and shipping costs. We (The UPS Store) are the first in the industry that has this promise.
Work or at school all day and need that package that evening or the following day? Open up a mailbox here and we'll sign for the package for you. Thats right, no more waiting all day for the mail or the delivery man to come to your door. You would have a real street address which would allow you to receive packages from any carrier, including but not limited to UPS, US Mail, FedEx, DHL, Staples, and sometimes Auto Parts stores. Once we receive your items, we enter them into our system and you could receive an automated email saying that its here. Phone Calls and Text Messages could also be an option for notifying you.
Sometimes you have something that is just too big to fit in your car or truck. We here at The UPS Stores also offer Freight Services. We can Pick up the items, build a custom crate or palletize them, and ship them off. UPS has a maximum weight per package of 150lbs, or Dimensions of 165" (Length plus Girth). Something Bigger? Let us know and we'll get you a quote in less than an hour. In the past, some of our shipments have consisted of 400lb Power Supply Units, ATM Machines, Rocking Chairs, Dry Sinks, Paintings to Belgium and yes even a Snowmobile to Barrow, Alaska.
