They have received NAID Certification for mobile document destruction, by adhering to the stringent security practices and procedures established by the National Association for Information Destruction.
How it Works
- Bring in your documents to The UPS Store in Slatersville. After weighing the contents to be shred, you place the documents in the secure locked shredding console that cotain a specially designed bag to insure secure storage.
- The mobile shredding truck arrives at The UPS Store. They unlock the console and retrieve the bag securing your documents.
- They take the bags into the mobile shredding truck and behind locked doors, your documents are immediately shredded into identifiably small pieces that could never be reconstructed.
- The shredding representative provides The UPS Store a Certificate of destruction after every shred.
Shredding Technology
Mobile shredding trucks are equipped with an incredibly powerful shredder. The shredder is able to shred clipboards and cardboard into fine confetti that can not ever be reconstructed. There is no need to separate fine papers - staples and paper clips are even able to go through the shredder seemlessly.
Environmental Responsibility
Our partner, Shred-it supports the manufacture of many different types of recycled paper products. For every 2 consoles we provide for shredding, a tree is saved!
