The UPS Store in Sylvania is involved in a variety of projects that aim to better the local community and beyond.

Recycling remains a top priority at our store.  We reuse donated packaging supplies as often as possible.  In the past, shipping included tedious paperwork; The UPS Store in Sylvania does not require you to complete any forms.  We have eliminated that step from the shipping process.  By doing so, we significantly reduce paper waste.

Our environmental awareness doesn't stop there.  The UPS Store in Sylvania is a proponent of alternative energy solutions.  Sylvania Northview High School is currently in the process of installing a turbine that will utilize wind energy to help power the school.  After the company sent them wrong turbine parts, Northview High School was at a loss for funds to reship these large items back to the company.  Dennis Fernandez, the owner of The UPS Store in Sylvania, offered to donate his services for the project.  Our store repackaged and shipped the improper parts for free.

The UPS Store in Sylvania was also able to put its' large format printing capabilities to good use.  We were delighted to provide our services to the Pacesetter Soccer Club.  Our store provided large banners to acknowledge the soccer club's sponsors at their new indoor soccer facility.  The UPS Store in Sylvania also recognized St. Ursula Academy's soccer team by creating personalized signs for each of the players.  The UPS Store promotes physical fitness and is happy to offer our services to local athletic clubs.

Local schools are some of The UPS Store's most important customers.  We are happy to work with non-profits to meet their needs and their budgets.  Some of our most recent printing jobs for local schools include Highland Elementary School's student directory and invitations for St. Joseph's School benefit dinner.  Tax exemptions and discounts are available at The UPS Store in Sylvania for many charitable organizations.
