The Susan G. Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure raises funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.
75 percent of the Puget Sound Affiliate’s net income goes toward funding grants to local hospitals and community organizations that provide breast health education, and breast cancer screening and treatment programs for medically underserved women. The remaining 25% supports the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Award and Research Grant Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research at the national level.
FOOD DRIVE
Our "Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Drive" Core Team members would like to thank you for your generosity in supplying us with all those copies at no charge.
We really appreciate your help, as we stated this food drive with few funds. The drive was a huge success. We collected over 18,200 pounds of food and $1115 cash donations in only 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Thank you again for your thoughtfulness.

TOYS FOR TOTS BOOK DRIVE AT QWEST FIELD
We headed up the book drive at the July 16,2011 Sounders match. First ever book drive at a Sounders or Seahawks game. Raised over $2500 and collected 800 books. In total over 3000 books were donated to a local non profit Literacy group!
The UPS Store is also a proud booster of the Redmond High School football and girls basketball squads as well as the drama club.
