In the Community
Our locally owned and operated UPS Store is truly community oriented.
We work, live, shop, play, worship and pay taxes within the community,
and accordingly seek to be good citizens and neighbors in the following ways:
1. Financial: 13% of the profits of this store, as well as 13% of the combined
income of the owner and wife are given to community religious and
charitable institutions.
2. Non-profit organization support: We provide special pricing for all
non-profit organizations, including but not limited to PTO's, religious
institutions & organizations, charitable & benevolent organizations, etc.
If you have either a special event or ongoing needs, contact Reagan.
3. Toys for Tots: We fully endorse and support the UPS/Marine Corp
Literacy and Toy Collection programs.
4. Recycling: We recycle (a.) unlimited quantities of packing peanuts
and air bags and (b.) styrofoam panels, blocks, coolers, etc. subject to
available space. We do not have the capability to recycle paper products
including corrugated boxes. As a general rule, corrugated boxes loose
50% of their strength on each use and our store policy on used boxes
is that we do not stock, sell, or give them away.
5. Community Book Exchange: Take one, or leave one or do both.
We do it all! UPS Shipping, copies, color copies, printing, scanning, binding,laminating, banners, business cards, postcards, passport photographs, notary public, fax, mailbox services,
packaging materials, packaging, shipping, post office services, freight, etc. We beat Kinkos. Serving Overland Park, Prairie Village, Leawood, Mission, Merriam, Lenexa, Shawnee, and Kansas City.
