Staff We hope you find our staff courteous and competent. We are a small, family-run business, and naturally, our staff becomes an extension of our family. The core of our team has been working together for several years. Combined, we have nearly 20 years experience in this business! New members of the staff go through extensive training, through both web-based education and personal instruction. We strive to balance "book-learning" with "hands-on" experience to get our associates up-to-speed as quickly and effectively as possible. Everyone is taught that you, our customer, is our number one priority. We hope the service reflects this core value. If you ever feel that is not the case, please, please let me know. I'll do something about it. I promise. Doug NunneryHello, I'm Doug, owner and operator of this location. My wife Ashlen and I own two The UPS Store locations in the area, with our sister store located in Clay County, on Fleming Island in the Eagle Harbor Shopping Center. Starting out as franchisees of Mail Boxes Etc. centers (rebranded as The UPS Stores in 2003), we've been in this industry, running our own locations for over 13 years. In my previous career, I was a Manager in Information Technology for IBM, and prior to that at The Prudential. I am a father of two boys, Joel and Alex, and am a graduate of UF and UNF. If I'm not in the store, I'm probably out "catching a few waves", at home exercising or working around the house, enjoying a ballgame, or worshipping God by serving in our church. Angie Nay, Store ManagerAngie runs the place....I just own it! Seriously, Angie is one of the most competent individuals I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She has been with us for over five years, working at both our former Mandarin location and for the last two years at this location. Angie has a notable family heritage. Her grandfather invented the famous "Clark Spoon", a popular lure among both freshwater and saltwater anglers for nearly 50 years. Angie "cut her teeth" in her family's factory where she used to get paid for each spoon she made. You can bet she worked circles around the other more seasoned employees. Angie is married to Chris, owner of a website development company, and has one daughter, Devon. She was an art major in college....you can tell by her beautiful handwriting! | |
