HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Just follow the steps below -- It's easy:
STEP 1: Download and print the USPS form 1583. (This is the Post Office's "Application for Delivery of Mail through Agent"). We must have this form returned with your original signature or an original signature of an officer of your company, both of which need to be signed in front of a Notary. The Notary will validate the signature. A Notary signature is not required if the mailbox is opened during a visit to our store.
STEP 2: Complete the required (*) fields on the Order a New Mailbox form below and click "Print" to print our Mailbox Agreement.
STEP 3: Come into the store, email us (store3770@theupsstore.com),
or call us at (803) 254-1601 to complete the application. We'll also need to get 2 forms of acceptable identification**. Legible photocopies of these IDs must be submitted with the original documentation. Once these documents are received and payment has been made the mailbox will be opened and ready to use.
**Acceptable identification includes: valid driver's license or state non-driver's identification card, armed forces, government, university, or recognized corporate identification card, passport, alien registration card, or a home or vehicle insurance policy.
