March 2010:
Suzanne MacKenzie and her daughter Sarah of Girl Scout Troop 30039 in Xenia held a shoe drive to send shoes to people in Haiti. We collected 1,144 pair of shoes! Our store owner, Kelly McAtee donated the shipping of the shoes. Thank you to all of those who donated shoes!

May 23, 2011:
We had another successful Shoe Drive this year for Japan and Alabama. Sarah MacKenzie & her Girl Scout Troop 30039 asked us to be the collection point, match up the shoes, rubber band them, count & ship them for her. We held the drive from April 8th through May 14th & collected & shipped 1,441 pair of shoes, eclipsing last years total!
Thank you Sarah & Suzanne (Sarah's mom). This is a great cause.
