Congressman Phil Gingrey makes a visit to
Acworth UPS Store

Arriving in a big brown UPS truck and dressed in full UPS delivery uniform, Congressman Phil Gingrey made time to address a group of students and customers at the UPS Store at Butler Creek Shopping Center (store 1998) in Acworth, last Tuesday.  Store owner, Tom Sansom, together with his wife Lynn, welcomed the Congressman and helped to provide an opportunity for local constituents to meet him and ask questions of concern to them. 

The students were from Cornerstone Preparatory Academy in Acworth.  Congressman Gingrey answered questions on several different topics including the recent Bail-Out bill, the Hope Scholarship, and Ear Marking.  The event was both educational and unique in that many of the students had never before met a United States Congressman.  After the time for questions, picture taking and refreshments, the Congressman continued to his next stop via the UPS truck.
