NOTARY SERVICES
Identification RequirementsIdentification must have your name as it currently legally stands and must match the name written on the document as signer.
Proper identification is required for any notary service requiring verification of signature. California recognizes the following types of identification as valid if issued by the state within the last 5 years:
- California Drivers License or Commercial Drivers License
- ID Card; Senoir Identification Card, Under 18 Identification Card, California Identification Card
- US Passport
The following types of identification are acceptable if they are current and have been issued within the last 5 years:
- Drivers License or ID Card issued by another state
- Mexican or Canadian drivers license issued by an authorized agency
- US Military identification card
- Foreign passport if stamped by Immigration and naturalization services
All identification cards must contain a photo, physical description, signature and serial number.
Notaries are not lawyers and cannot dispense legal advise so please come in knowing what type of service that you require:

What can NOT be notarized?
-Incomplete documents. Please be advised as to what should be filled in on your forms/documents.
-Copies of Birth, Death, or Marriage certificates
-Documents signed outside our presence
PASSPORT PHOTOS
The following is the list of regulations regarding passport-style photographs:- Photographs must be 2x2 inches in size, taken within the past 6 months
-The image size from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head should be between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches.
-The photographs must be in color.
-They must be full face, front view with a plain white or off-white background.
-Photographs should be taken in normal street attire, without a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hairline.
-Uniforms should not be worn in photographs with the exception of religious attire which is worn daily.
-If prescription glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles are normally and consistently worn, they should be worn when the picture is taken.
-Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless required for medical reasons. A medical certificate may be required to support the wearing of such glasses in the photographs.
