Live Scan fingerprinting is used by law enforcement agencies and private facilities to capture fingerprints and palm prints electronically using a computer and fingerprinting scanner, without the need for the more traditional method of ink and paper.  Currently, some industries require background screening for licensure, certification, employment/volunteer, and/or promotion. These are Automotive, Childcare, Education, Financial, Gaming (casino, lottery), Government, Healthcare, Notary, real estate license or permit etc.

Bring following documents with you:

Request for Live-Scan Fingerprinting forms from the requesting agency, appropriately filled prior to your visit.

A State issued valid Drivers License

DOJ (Department of Justice) fees: $32.00*
FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) fees: $17.00*
Fingerprint rolling fees: $20.00
You may need DOJ + Rolling fee= $52.00* or  DOJ + FBI + Rolling fee= $69.00* depending on the requesting agency.
